Try Hockey For Free Day Is Saturday, November 10th

If your kid has ever wanted to try the sport of hockey  November 10th is Try Hockey For Free Day. 

According to USA Hockey, this day is set up for kids who want to try out the sport.   USA Hockey and 450 local associations are teaming up to give kids a chance to skate and try the sport.

In our area you can take part at Wings West in Kalamazoo and The Rink in Battle Creek.  They encourage kids between the ages of 4 and 9 to try youth hockey.   This is part of Come Play Hockey month.

If you don't have any equipment the locations will have limited equipment for the kids to use.   If you want to participate you are encouraged to register.   For more details you can check out the Try Hockey For Free site.   You can also check out Wings West or The Rink.
