Uber And Lyft Are Giving Veterans Free Rides To Job Interviews

According to the story from The Military Times, Uber is teaming up with Lyft to give veterans free rides to jobs and job interviews beginning next year.

Uber will donate 10,000 rides and Lyft is donating thousands as well.  Information on the free rides will be available on the Department of Labor website and on the Uber and Lyft sites.

Also announced today, Uber is allowing customers to donate $5 toward a free ride for a veteran through the company's app.
