It's official; The Ultimate Extreme Ultra .1k is Saturday, September 24th at a new location, Bronson Park! More room means more fun, with entertainment and family friendly activities from The Civic Theatre, Kalamazoo Parks and Rec., the KIA, and Down Dog Yoga, and music from Shelagh Brown Band.

So, what is the .1k? It's a spoof run that everyone can do, regardless of physical ability; the race is so short you can actually see the Finish Line from the Start Line. You don't even have to run!  You can skip, stroll, saunter, roll - just be there! The event benefits a wonderful organization in our area, Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. Your $25 registration fee helps the HCSWM with their mission; provide hospice care and grief support to all who need them in our community, regardless of ability to pay. Plus, you get a sweet t-shirt, race bag, cup, and other cool shwag if you're one of the first 500 to sign up!

Returning this year, the Duck Derby Hospice Raffle, photo booth, costume contest, FREE Kids Fun Run - plus all the delicious food trucks in our area will be on hand to help you protein load after the physically demanding run you've just completed. The Union and Tap House will also be there with liquid refreshment.

It's going to be such a fun day! Grab your friends and register today for The Ultimate Extreme Ultra .1k!
