Visitation, Celebration of Life Details for “Taco Bob” Ketteman
A celebration of life has been announced for "Taco Bob" Bob Ketteman.
The long time Kalamazoo restauranteur died suddenly last weekend at the age of 60.
There will be a public visitation on Thursday, March 12th, from 4p-8p, and again on Friday, March 13th, from 3p-6p. It will be at Langeland Funeral Home at 3926 S. 9th St. in Kalamazoo. There will be a service following the Friday visitation, and there will be some food and refreshment at both visitations.
According to Ketteman's obituary, he is survived by wife Nancy, four children, and five grandchildren.
The obituary also says "Memorials may be directed to Taco Bob's where a foundation will be created to celebrate those that embody the Taco Bob attitude."
The Taco Bob's Facebook page is filled with pictures of Mr. Ketteman, as well as many remembrances from friends and customers.
According to an MLive story, Ketteman and wife Nancy Ketteman started in the taco business in 1985, and opened the first Taco Bob's in 1988. There are now six location around the greater Kalamazoo area.
