The NFL season is a few weeks away and recently the Detroit Lions have announced reduced food and drink prices.  With the price changes will you go to a game in Detroit this season?

According to Detroit Free Press,  the Lions have reduced prices around the stadium on beer, a hot dog/ drink combo and a hot dog/beer combo.

You can also save on pop, a hot dog, beer or cocktail and specialty drinks at select locations around Ford Field and also for the first hour the doors open on game days.

Game tickets usually run close to $50 a piece for the cheap seats and add the food cost and parking that usually keeps some fans away.   The lower food cost could help boost attendance at games.

I personally have yet to see a game at Ford Field mostly due to the price of tickets.  I haven't really thought of the food cost.  What do you think will this price change help you decide to go to a game this season or will you stick to watching it on TV?

The Lions will open their season on Monday night, September 10th against the New York Jets.
