Good morning, and Happy New Year, Friends!  I know it's been a while since I checked in to report how I'm doing with keeping up on My Nutrimost Adventure.  Like you, the few weeks before the holidays were spent finalizing plans, organizing to-do lists, and taking care of general holiday shenanigans (the shopping, the wrapping, etc.).  On top of that, I decided to take my two weeks off to clean and reorganize my entire condo. Top to bottom. Front to back. Living space to basement. Daunting task, indeed. Not only did I find I had too many books and unused kitchen gadgets,  The Dork Dungeon (basement) had become a general dumping ground for future DIY projects, and I was finding it hard to find anything in my closet that still fit me... in a good way. My focus became winter cleaning in anticipation of the new year.  New year, new me.

The other focus was being mindful of My Nutrimost Adventure; sticking to the foods my body needs and loves, while at the same time allowing myself to indulge in a few of the things that it just wouldn't be the holidays without; my cousin's cheesecake, Chinese food from Silver Seafood, and brie.  A girl's gotta live, right?

This is the old me; the me that would have housed that cheesecake.  The me before Nutrimost:

Armed with the knowledge that Nutrimost gave me, this is the me who enjoyed the holidays in a way that both treated me and helped me stick to my goals...

I have officially lost 21 pounds.  My metabolic age is 18.

That's right, metabolically speaking I'm barely legal. I've been saying that a lot.

But what's more is this; when faced with the aforementioned two week task of sorting, boxing, keeping/donating, and general cleaning set before me, the old me would have Netflixed my vacation away until the last two days, half-*ssed the job at hand, and excused it away as a task too big to tackle by myself in the first place.  The new me? Did it. All of it.  I even had the last four days to spend however I wanted.  Why was I able to do it? Nutrimost.

I know I've said it before, but I will say it again; Nutrimost isn't just about weight loss. It's about wellness. It's about energy. It's about not being too tired for your job, the kids, the chores. It's about learning what your body needs and giving it the fuel to function in such a better way. It's about gaining the confidence needed to continue on with this program because it works; you see the results, you feel the results, and you don't want to go back to your old habits. All those old habits I left behind in 2015.

Introducing Bishop 2.0.  It's all thanks to Nutrimost.
