You never know who you're going to run into when you're out and about doing everyday activities, you could even run into a celebrity, or better, a 13-time Emmy winner which is what happened to Hilltop Orchards over the weekend.

It's not often you get to meet someone who has won multiple massive awards but it's hard to remember that they're just like us, except filthy rich and without the stresses of working from paycheck to paycheck and living in unaffordable housing never able to save for a house because we can't get paid a livable wage in this day and age.

Anyway, Al Roker, who got his start in Cleveland, Ohio, has won 13 Emmys and does everyday normal things like us, including going apple picking, which is where he was spotted recently in Massachusetts.

As his wiki shows, Roker moved around quite a bit before hitting the big time:

Roker's career with NBC began in 1978 when he was hired at WKYC in Cleveland, then an NBC-owned-and-operated station. After five years in Cleveland, Roker was promoted to the network's flagship outlet, WNBC-TV in his hometown. Roker returned to New York City in late 1983 as a weekend weathercaster, and within eight months became the station's regular weeknight weathercaster. Roker received wider exposure when David Letterman asked him to join in an elevator race on an episode of the talk show Late Night with David Letterman, which led to Roker becoming the forecaster for Weekend Today.
