Casey Kasem a True Legend

I'm sure I'm not alone with being influenced by the late Casey Kasem.  He passed away over the weekend at the age of 82.  I can't remember the first time I heard him on the air but I remember making an effort to listen to his countdown show whenever I could.

 I even remember on occasion my brother and I pretending to be Casey and doing our own countdowns with whatever music we had on 45 or cassettes.  I was a big fan of his work on Scooby- Doo as Shaggy as well as his work as Robin on the Super Friends.  It's great that you can still see both of those shows on Cartoon Network and Boomerang. His countdown's still pop up on the air around the world as well. Whether on the air or as a voice actor,  A true legend  thanks for being a major influence on me and my fellow radio broadcasters.
