Collective Soul, Everclear to Rock Traverse City Cherry Festival

This year's National Cherry Festival is taking it back to the '90s with Collective Soul and Everclear joining the musical lineup that features REO Speedwagon.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be flying on July 4 and Traverse City will be rocking all week long at the National Cherry Festival, July 4-11. REO Speedwagon was previously announced to play on Wednesday, July 8 and Collective Soul and Everclear will close out eight nights of music on Saturday, July 11.

Collective Soul is best known for their debut single "Shine" in 1994, and followed it with "December" and "The World I Know." The band has released ten albums so far. "Santa Monica" will be the sing along song of Everclear's set, and fans will remember "Father of Mine" and "I Will Buy You A New Life."
