Cookie's Five Star Grill is a staple of the Northside of Kalamazoo, but in recent months they've gone through hardships which unfortunately is leading them to close. Luckily for the community, they're hopeful that the closure is only temporary, as they stated in their Facebook update:

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused, but we would like to inform you that our business will be temporarily closed from July 27th to August 10th. During this period, we will be taking the necessary time to address personal matters within our family. Regrettably, the recent month has been marked by significant losses, making it difficult for us to maintain the level of service we strive for.
