Don't miss the exclusive Rocker Morning Show interview with Dee Snider just after 7:00, Tuesday, March 3rd. Best known for fronting the 80s glam band Twisted Sister, Dee Snider is responsible for bringing the world such hits as We're Not Gonna Take It and I Wanna Rock. Snider went on to form Desperado in 1988 with Bernie Trome, Marc Russell, and Clive Burr. Around that time music, specifically rock, was under the microscope by the Tipper Core-led Parents Music Resource Center. Alongside John Denver and Frank Zappa, Snider raised his voice against unnecessary censorship. From there, Snider dabbled as a screenwriter, radio personality, and actor. So what is the legendary frontman up to these days? Petitioning to get AC/DC to play the Super Bowl. It's true. With rock used so heavily in football, and most season ticket holders are of an age to have fond memories of classic rock, Snider aims to get rid of the pandering-pop halftime show and make room for some noise.
