With lights flashing, horns honking, sirens wailing and flags flying, a convoy of emergency vehicles drove by Borgess hospital, saluting Kalamazoo medical workers.

Onlookers clapped, waved, shot video and took photos as a loud parade expressed gratitude for the health care workers at Ascension-Borgess Hospital who are putting themselves on the front lines each and every day of the Coronavirus pandemic.

You may have seen the message out front that reads "Heroes work here." Those heroes were honored by others who do essential jobs to serve and protect the public as well. This 2 1/2 minute video captures highlights of the drive-by on Gull Road before the caravan headed to Bronson hospital downtown Kalamazoo to proclaim their message of support there too.
