There’s a new game store, which is based in Michigan, that has expanded to Kalamazoo. Game Pawn, a used game store that buys, sells, and trades games already has locations in Ann Arbor, Novi, Waterford, and Ypsilanti, and is now officially open seven days a week at 4606 West Main St. in Kalamazoo.

They carry everything from Funko Pops to plushies to retro gaming systems like the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, and all the other major gaming consoles.

Used game stores are awesome because you never know what you’re going to find in there, and sometimes you finally come up on a long so after video game, you haven’t been able to find in stores.

They also carry a wide variety of sealed Lego sets, vinyl records, Pokémon cards, and any video game accessory you can think of.

The announcement that they will be making their way to Kalamazoo came back in August when the company first launched its Kalamazoo locations page.

Since October, when construction and painting began inside the shop, it has gone through a complete transformation and is a haven for all gamers, as Bonus Saves had a sneak peek before opening.

Review of the Game Pawn Kalamazoo murals! I finished up the 4th and final column the store this weekend. Super Smash Bros main wall, Mario, Pacman, Pikmin, and Minecraft for the column themes. Excited to see the store come together! Opening soon.

You can check out their Facebook page for hours and more info if you are interested in employment opportunities.
