College Football is a few months away and there will be a new look in the end zones for Michigan Stadium this fall.

According to M-Live,  Michigan Football announced the change to the field on Twitter.  The end zones will feature blue turf.

Past years featured Michigan spelled out in maize in the end zones.   It will still have Michigan spelled out in maize but will now have the turf under it blue.

This hasn't been done in Ann Arbor but it has been seen before during bowl games including the teams national title game in 1998.

The turf is being replaced this summer so could this have anything to do with the change?

What do you think of the change for the end zones at Michigan Stadium?

Michigan will start the 2018 season on the road in South Bend against the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame on September 1st.

The first home game at Michigan Stadium with the new end zones will be on September 8th against the Broncos of Western Michigan.
