The National Wildlife Federation Great American Campout has returned to Ramona Park located at 8600 South Sprinkle Road. Reserve your site today for the whole family spaces are limited and time to register will run out quickly. Bring your own tent or let them know if you need one when registering.

Check-in and camp set-up will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22nd with check-out on Sunday, June 23rd by 10:30 am. There will be a pig roast dinner, S'mores, popcorn and a light breakfast which is all included with the $50 fee. Participants can swim at the beach, go on a ranger led hike, make leaf etchings, and enjoy other family friendly activities. To end the evening, there will be showing of the original The Parent Trap movie outdoors under the stars. Sunday morning campers can watch the sunrise or enjoy yoga on the beach prior to checkout. Restrooms will be open during this event. Scholarships are available through the Portage Community Center.
