Happy National Beer Day!

Today is the day to raise your pint and honor your favorite brew.  Today is National Beer Day!

I'll admit I'm not the biggest beer drinker.  I drink beer, but so infrequently that I have yet to sample many of the great beers we have in this great state.  Bell's is the main brewery around that I'm most familiar with.  Oberon is one of the first beers that I ever had and still one of my favorites.  I also had the chance to try Best Brown Ale for my wedding anniversary and enjoyed it.

I've been really into some of the beers at Dark Horse in Marshall recently.  My brother-in-law is a big fan and through him I've had the chance to try many of their brands.  My favorite is Raspberry Ale, but I have also grown to love their Rain in Blood Orange.

I've got my work cut out for me to catch up and try some of the great beers around the area.   I'll have to make sure to try some  at America On Tap when it hits town in May.
