Carrying the torch for classic rock fans, the late John Bonham's son Jason brings the timeless music of Led Zeppelin to the Hard Rock Casino stage in Gary.

Devoted Led Zeppelin fans can tell you that Jason Bonham, following in his famous father's footsteps, began playing drums when he was just five years old. He appears in the concert film The Song Remains the Same at the age of seven, playing alongside his father. Since John Bonham's passing, Jason has taken his seat behind the drum kit on the very few occasions Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones have reunited on stage.

These days, he's keeping the music of Led Zeppelin alive on stage with a tour called Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening. He didn't map out his career path this way. He told an audience last year,

I started this 11 years ago to do it once...and I soon found out that it wasn't about me or my dad or about our story, it was about all of our stories and what Led Zeppelin meant to each and every one of us.

-Jason Bonham

If Led Zeppelin means anything to you, you won't want to miss this show. Unlike any tribute show, Jason shares his personal stories from his days growing up as a child of rock and roll royalty. Film clips from the family archive highlight the music his father made with his friends: classics from I-IV and Physical Graffiti are all on the setlist.
