With the big news yesterday of the Kalamazoo Growlers making the playoffs for the first time in their history, the town is buzzing as they are wrapping up their regular season this weekend with 4 straight home games to cap off the baseball season. They made an announcement yesterday during their game that on Monday's first Divisional Playoff game, they will be hosting a viewing party.

Normally, in order to watch any Growlers away game, you need to have one of the packages on the Northwoods League's website, which can run you $11 a day- or $200 for the whole season. They are planning a FREE public viewing party on Monday as they announced on their Facebook yesterday:

The Kalamazoo Growlers have clinched a playoff spot for the first time in team history! We will be hosting a playoff watch party at Applebee's on Gull Road. If you wear something Kalamazoo Growlers you'll be entered into a raffle for great prizes. Go Growlers!

The viewing party is set to start at 7:30 p.m. Location and time are subject to change.
