Kalamazoo Valley Museum Hosts Bee Market at June Art Hop
To celebrate the brand new exhibit, The Secrets of Bees, the Kalamazoo Valley Museum, the museum, itself, is hosting a Bee Market! Vendor tables will be on hand celebrating local organizations that help support our much needed bee population, like Shades of Lavender Farm, Nativistic Botanicals, and Bee Snug, Honey & Hive. See products that were pollinated by our busy, buzzy friends, and then take some home. Kalamazoo College's Bee Lab will share their findings regarding diversity and behavior of Michigan bees. Plus, members of the Kalamazoo Bee Club will be on hand to answer questions you might have about becoming a beekeeper. Stick around for mini concerts between 6pm and 8pm, and enjoy fresh fruit glazed in honey and sugar cookies with honey frosting. Celebrate one of the hardest working animals on our planet June 7th at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum during Art Hop.
