    Beer and Food Pairing: German

    Monday, January 27th, 6:00-7:30

According to Kegworks, German brewers created a number of different styles of lagers and ales, all while following Reinheitsgebot, the Beer Purity Law, that mandated all beer can only be made from barley, hops and water. Take this course and you’ll be an expert at your next Oktoberfest.

The pairings for this class are:

    1. Munich Helles with Cucumber Salad
    2. Schwarzbier with Bavarian Pretzel and dipping sauce
    3. Hefeweizen with Traditional German sausage and herbed spatzle
    4. Berliner Weisse with Creamy Cheese and Preserves

    Beer and Food Pairing: American

    Monday, April 20th, 6:00-7:30

Seriouseats.com perfectly sums up the American style beers as saying, quote, "...American beer's appeal lies in the fact that it so frequently defies categorization. While there are some established and agreed-upon styles, there are new ones popping up every day thanks to a spirit of creativity that's not bound by rules rooted in tradition."

    Menu yet to be determined.
