The Boss is legendary for his marathon concerts. Hear Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at the height of their popularity this week on Live in Concert.

In 1975, Bruce Springsteen made rock and roll history by becoming the first rocker on the cover of Time and Newsweek magazines in the same week. Ten years later, the Boss was bigger than ever thanks to Born in the U.S.A. His seventh studio album would go on to become "one of the highest-selling records ever, having sold 30 million copies by 2012. It has also been cited by critics as one of the greatest albums of all time. The album received a nomination for Album of the Year at the 1985 Grammy Awards."

This week on Live in Concert, hear Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band recorded live on the subsequent tour. Nearly 4 million fans would see the show as they covered the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and Europe. Saturday night, we’ll listen to a legendary performance captured live on the final week of the tour- it was September 27th, 1985, at the LA Memorial Coliseum. Bruce and the guys were kicking off a 4 night stand, and as usual, it was an incredible night.

David Bowie from 1976, Heart in '84 and The Rolling Stones on The Bigger Bang tour round out the lineup this week. Saturday nights rock with Live in Concert, every week at 8 pm, exclusively on Kalamazoo's Rock Station 107.7 RKR.
