Here are the most frustrating intersections in Kalamazoo and Portage.

Cards on the table, traffic in Southwest Michigan is nothing compared to larger nearby cities like Grand Rapids, Detroit or Chicago.  In fact, people from larger cities would probably say there is NO traffic in the Kalamazoo area.  It doesn't change the fact that long red lights feel like a day wrecker when you're on your way to work.  We asked Kalamazoo and Portage residents which traffic lights frustrate them the most.  Two made streets where mentioned constantly.  Most complaints about long red lights involved Sprinkle Road or Westnedge Ave.  Let's start with Portage.
