Spirit Halloween Announces Spirit Christmas Stores: When Will Michigan Get One?
The big joke has always been that when a business goes under and ends up selling, that it will most likely become a spirit Halloween by the time spooky season gets around. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that they would toy with the idea of expanding, and indeed, that is exactly what has happened.
It’s been announced by the same company that owns Spirit Halloween that they will be opening up a slew of stores called Spirit Christmas, and once Halloween is over, they will be setting up in multiple locations. As of right now, only 10 locations have been announced, and you can even get your picture taken with Santa.

The company described what people can expect from these new locations:
Discover thousands of stocking stuffers, holiday apparel, fun gifts, unique décor, plus all the special trimmings for creating an unforgettable Christmas.
I kind of like this idea, and for someone who has their own rental home, I’m starting to build up more holiday decorations, and we need a place like this. So, how long is it until Michigan gets its own location?
As of right now, there has not been an announcement, but you would have to expect that if it does well this holiday season, they will plan to expand. Currently, the 10 stores are scattered throughout New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. But as soon as they decide to open up in Michigan, we will definitely let you know.
Luckily, for us in Kalamazoo, we still have the Christmas Emporium on Westnedge Avenue, which is full of vintage Christmas decorations at a pretty reasonable price.
