As of last Thursday, it's officially the season of spring!

With temperatures starting to creep upwards, and events like Oberon Day, Detroit Tigers opening day, and the NCAA Tournament on our minds, we might start thinking about a refreshing dip in the pool. Well, our chance to enjoy ourselves at Battle Creek's own water park is fast approaching!

According to the Battle Creek Parks & Recreation website, the first day for the Flash Flood Water Park at Full Blast will be May 25, the Saturday before Memorial Day. For Memorial Day weekend, admission will be buy one, get one half off, and concessions will be discounted.

Flash Flood has been closed since Labor Day 2018. It's a seasonal indoor/outdoor water park featuring two 200 foot water slides, an inflatable slide, bounce house, zero depth entry pools and more. Admission can be gained on a single day basis, or a "summer fun pass" can be purchased for the entire season.

Flash Flood is located in Full Blast on Hamblin Ave. in Downtown Battle Creek.
