Joe Louis has been gone for a while now, but it's interesting to take a look back inside this legendary arena while it was being dismantled.

An actual air horn hasn't been heard at a red Wings Game since Joe Louis Arena closed in 2017.

The Detroit Red Wings have partnered with Detroit Jeweler, Rebel Nell to create some unique pieces from the old Joe Louis Arena.

They're in the process of removing the concrete right now.

Then again, the Silverdome didn't really "implode" either. The first time, anyways.

Now is the best time to buy one of these seats from the JLA, because for the next two weeks, seats are going as low as $50.

Back in the Spring items starting being sold and auctioned off from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. If you missed out there are still seats and various items from the arena up for sale.

Late last year items from the Joe Louis Arena went up for auction. As the calendar changes over to May, the seats from the arena in Detroit are now up for sale.

It's only a matter of time now. By May of this year, The City of Detroit must begin demolition work for the now-vacant Joe Louis Arena in order to prepare the area for a new hotel that's expected to reshape the entire Downtown Detroit Riverfront area.
