The final season ended back in the spring at the Joe Louis Arena and the Red Wings have announced a unique item to commemorate the final season at the historic arena.

As the Joe Louis Arena closes it's doors for good, the WWE had one last event in the old arena over the weekend.

Western Michigan Broncos Hockey will be among the teams to play the final Great Lakes Invitational  at The Joe Louis Arena December 29th and 30th.

This Season is the final season for the Detroit Red Wings at The Joe Louis Arena.  My Wife and I decided to make the drive down to Detroit to see An Original Six match up between the Red Wings and The Boston Bruins.

This upcoming season will be the last for the Joe Louis Arena. Want to skate at it before it closes?  There is a group that has rented the Joe for fans to skate one last time.

The Detroit Red Wings will pay tribute to "Mr. Hockey", Gordie Howe, on opening night, October 17th, and throughout the season.

Let me e'splain why it took me so long to write about the Muse concert that happened last Thursday at The Joe in Detroit.  I know a lot of you are not Muse fans.  Some of you are so adamant in your refusal to listen to their music, that, to you, being a Muse fan alone, is a hell worthy trespass...

I'm a die-hard rocker, and if you would of asked me 20 years ago if I would ever go to a Garth Brooks show, I would of thought you were insane. However, this weekend my wife asked me to go with her to see Garth at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
