Lies

So, that brings to mind some of the things I have told myself and heard others say since I moved to Michigan, that sometimes turns out not to be true, or are they?

They're not LIES so to speak. Just half truths we fudge a little to help keep us sane.

"If you pee in the pool, it will change color" - contrary to what we want to believe, pools are not equipped to change color when urine has entered the water,

Walt: I called my boss to tell him I wouldn't be in to work because I was sick and couldn't get out of bed. All would've been fine if he hadn't been two cars behind me in the McDonalds drive thru #hatesmalltowns

Why do we apply it to just politics? Why not apply fact checking to our everyday lives. So with that in mind, here are some my everyday checks on the facts of life.
