Tenderly – The Rosemary Clooney Musical Coming to Kalamazoo Civic Theatre

Before she got our hips moving with "Mambo Italiano",  Rosemary Clooney started life in northern Kentucky. Who would have thought that such humble roots would produce a legend who would top the charts for nearly fifty years? The Kalamazoo Civic Theatre presents the Southwest Michigan premiere of Tenderly: The Rosemary Clooney Musical, January 11th through January 27th at the Parish Theatre. Starring Mary Teutsch (Annie Get Your Gun, To Kill a Mockingbird) as Rosemary and Hal Hobson-Morse (Hello Dolly, Sylvia) as the many men in Clooney's life, this show follows her rise to stardom; her success in film, radio, television, and the personal struggles she encountered along the way.
