As we begin a hopeful new year in 2022, we take a look back at the biggest stories of 2021 here in Kalamazoo, around Michigan, and across the rock and roll world. These were the big stories in April of 2021 that everyone was talking about.

Maybe we all wanted to look back on better days as it was beginning to look more and more like 2021 was going to be a lot like 2020. The three biggest stories this year all involved a look back.

Coronavirus Surge in Southwest Michigan
- Battle Creek and Kalamazoo were pinpointed as Coronavirus hotspots in April of 2021, as we all dreamed of what we might spend a 4th stimulus check on. That one must have gotten lost in the mail.
