As COVID surged in Michigan, nostalgia was blooming with the RKR audience, The big stories looked back but the 4th stimulus check we looked forward to never arrived.

As we begin a hopeful new year in 2022, we take a look back at the biggest stories of 2021 here in Kalamazoo, around Michigan, and across the rock and roll world. These were the big stories in April of 2021 that everyone was talking about.

Maybe we all wanted to look back on better days as it was beginning to look more and more like 2021 was going to be a lot like 2020. The three biggest stories this year all involved a look back.

What long gone Kalamazoo restaurant do you miss the most?

• You said Pappy's, Mountain Jack's, Bill Knapp's, Chi Chi's, Ponderosa, and Damons, and made us hungry.
