As one whos uses the Sprinkle Rd. roundabout daily I was a little unnerved when I found out the Sprinkle Rd roundabout is famous in a not so flattering way.  The roundabout owns the dubious and distinct honor of having the 5th most crashes in the state when it comes to roundabouts.  Driver anxiety and confusion seem to be the culprit when approaching and executing this unique traffic design.

Now I don't know about you but I've always found music to be a very soothing measure especially when it comes to settling me down after getting all flipped out about something.  A song to soothe the savage beast if you will. That's why I'm proposing every driver who approaches the Sprinkle Rd. roundabout have a walk up song que'd up and ready to play fiercely loud when entering the woeful traffic design.

I have a few song suggestions for you that work for me:

Round and Round - RATT:

It's obvious why this song will get you safely through the roundabout. Just read the lyrics to the first verse of the song.

"Out on the streets, that's where we'll meet
You make the night, I always cross the line
Tightened our belts, abuse ourselves
Get in our way, we'll put you on your shelf"

Now if other drivers don't get out of your way after hearing those lyrics, then the crash is on them because you warned them that you have tightened your belt and are willing to  cross the line and if they get in the way ...well...hope you like sitting on a shelf my fellow drivers cause I'm even ready to abuse myself if I have to. Whatever that implies.

Roundabout - YES:

This will probably end up being the roundabout walk up song favorite. I mean it is called Roundabout.  Now picture yourself sailing around the roundabout screaming the following lyrics at the top of your lungs.

I'll be the roundabout
The words will make you out 'n' out
I spend the day your way
Call it morning driving through the sound and
In and out the valley

YES!!! Be the Roundabout...feel the roundabout...be one with the roundabout and as you guide effortlessly through its maze-like structure, pretend you're in a valley of sunflowers and the sun is shining brightly.  Other drivers will sense your madness and get away from you as fast as possible and you'll sail zen-like through its confusing design with the greatest of ease.

Jesus Take The Wheel - Carrie Underwood

If all else fails you could just hand over responsibility to a higher power.

Jesus, take the wheel. Take it from my hands
'Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go. So give me one more chance
And save me from this road I'm on

Keep in mind these are just walk up music suggestions from me for you to listen to as you approach and enter the Sprinkle Rd. roundabout. They work for me but what about you? What song do you think would be a good walk up song for you next time you use the roundabout?
