Remember Intellivision? It was one of the early gaming consoles.   Released in the early 1980's, it was one of the main consoles to come out at the time with the Atari 2600.  It also happened to be my first taste of home gaming systems.

I was remembering an old game I used to play on that console and it got me looking up old game clips online.

I didn't have an Intellivision, but my best friend at the time did.  I would go over to his place when I could and play all his games.    Some of my favorite Intellivision games included, "Astrosmash", "Major League Baseball", "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons", "Frog Bog", "Triple Action", "Skiing" and I also liked the Intellivision version of "Pitfall".

Unfortunately my friend eventually moved away and I missed playing all of those games for years until I got a hold of the game,"Intellivision Lives" for my old PlayStation 2.

Many of the classic games were featured on it.  There was a downside as the PlayStation controllers were a pain to use for these old games.  It was enough to suffer through to enjoy those classic games again.

They have re-released the console again and I may just have to track one down.

I liked the Atari 2600, which was also big at the time, but there was just something about Intellivision that I always liked.   Graphics, the games they were just  better to me on Intellivision.
