This week is the start of the NHL season and teams go all out for their introductions.   Lias Andersson would like to forget his entrance.

According to CBS Sports, Andersson of the New York Rangers tripped on the ice during his introduction on Thursday.

The fall was actually caused by a video cable that Andersson did not see.   Andersson did not see the cable but the rest of his teammates saw the cable and missed it.

I am surprised that the cable was sitting across the ice.   What would of happened if Andersson or one of the Rangers top players like Henrik Lundqvist, Mike Zibanejad or Kappo Kakko were injured on that cable?

Not a great start for Andersson but if he has a good season I'm sure fans will forget about his first introduction at Madison Square Garden.
