Which West Michigan Small Town Voted One Of The Best In America?

As usual we're partial to, not only Michigan but more specifically, West Michigan.  Afterall, the West side is the Best side.  We've got the best beaches, the best wineries, the best breweries, I mean we've got the best of everything.  So it's only fitting that one of our own small towns would be selected as one of the best small towns in America.

According to the nationally renowned publication housebeautiful.com, Saugatuck, MI is one of their choices for best small town in America.  They site the fact that it's a charming beach town and a famed art colony that has been a favorite Summer destination for decades.  They see the Oval Beach as the big draw but I'm not sure i've ever been there.  I'll have to check it out this summer when we take our annual trip up and down the coast.  The only downside for me is the shopping for household items.  Anyway, congratulations Saugatuck!!!
