There are lots of things that are unexplainable about the state of Michigan, including the Michigan Dogman, which has been the focus of investigation and wonder in the History Channel show The UnXplained starring William Shatner.

The Holland Lemonheads have also made that list and a new season of wonders and unexplained topics will be covered in the Season 3 continuation of the show which debuts Friday, October 28th on a story about "Real Life Monsters."

William Shatner discusses this and other topics like Jack The Ripper, which has its own episode.

The show is an exploration of the world's most fascinating, strange, and inexplicable mysteries featuring compelling contributions from scientists, historians, and witnesses as they seek to shed light on how the impossible can happen, as the show describes.

William Shatner of course is best known for his roles in TJ Hooker, and as James T. Kirk in Star Trek, but has also been making a name for himself doing spoken word versions of popular songs including Bohemian Rhapsody, I Put A Spell On You, Rocket Man and Space Oddessy.

As Executive Producer of The UnXplained he told us how we're obsessed and upset at mysteries like the ones in his shows:

We've got an order for next season for 40 more hours. Human beings hate unexplained things, it's mesmerizing, it's intrigiung being told about a mystery that may one day be solved, but not today.
