2 Dollar General Stores Maybe Added To Emmett Township in 2018

Dollar General may soon add two more stores to Emmett Township.

According to Battle Creek Enquirer,  a new Dollar General store is being built at 1169 E. Columbia and should be opened early next year.

There is already a location at 2420 E. Columbia, but that location will stay open even with the completion and opening of the new location.

According to company spokesperson, Angela Petkovic,  The company for Dollar General is reviewing a possible store at the location of 1021 Verona Road.   The final decision on that possible location will be made early next year.

There are currently six Dollar General locations in the Battle Creek, Emmett Township area.  Emmett Street, Capital Ave Southwest, Roosevelt Avenue, Two on Columbaia Avenue and Michigan Avenue.
