Voting is now open to select what the new round of “I Voted" sticker creations will be given out ahead of the 2026 election.

The Michigan Secretary of State’s office has officially opened up voting after a report has shown that more than 2000 submissions were sent in this year, which has been narrowed down to 30 semifinalists in each of the three categories.

Submissions were sent in from elementary and middle school students from grades kindergarten through eight, high school students from grades nine through 12, and a general entry for people of all ages.

Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson expressed her excitement that this project has seen such an overwhelming amount of support and participation, as well as details on when voting will be open:

When we launched the 'I Voted' sticker contest in 2024, we had no idea it would become a cultural phenomenon. The sticker contest is back for 2026, and it's your chance to pick this year's winner. From June 1 to June 30, you can go to michigan.gov/ivotedsticker and vote for your favorite stickers. The winning designs will be available to clerks all across the state to provide at polling stations in this fall's general election. Don't delay, get your vote in today.

Winners will be announced later this summer and will have their stickers printed in mass, as they will be handed out to everyone who votes later on this year. Below are the options to choose from for all categories.
