Battle Creek Teen Suing Dick’s Sporting Goods
Following the recent announcement by Dick's Sporting Goods to raise the minimum age to purchase a gun, a Battle Creek 18-year-old is suing the store. Tristin Fulton tried to buy a gun, but was denied, an interaction caught on video shot by his uncle who is co-owner of Battle Creek gun dealer, Freedom Firearms. Fulton's lawyer has filed on behalf of the teen to make Dick's Sporting Goods reverse their decision, and pay Fulton $25,000.
Companies are allowed to make policies based on age, and they have the right to change those policies as they see fit. What do you think? Is this lawsuit justified, or a cash grab? What do you hope to see as a resolution to this case?
