Best Days to See Harvest Moon in Kalamazoo
So why do we call it a Harvest Moon? According to The Old Farmer's Almanac, a Harvest Moon is:
...the full Moon nearest the start of fall or the autumnal equinox... The abundance of bright moonlight early in the evening was a traditional aide to harvest crews, hence the “Harvest” Moon.
I feel like I should have the "The More You Know" rainbow over my head right now.
