A lot of Crayons 4 Kids events have had to be cancelled this year due to the pandemic. But if you're looking for a fun way to help a great local charity, grab the kids and take them down to the Crayons 4 Kids Charity Cruise-In, Saturday, October 3rd from 10am to 3:00pm. It's all taking place at Otsego Memorial Park, just off Farmer Street in Otsego. Many makes and models of vehicles will be on display, plus entertainment for the whole family; PJ Weber the Magician & Entertainer, Hula Hoop performer Lisa Dell, and a tricycle race (you read that correctly) that will see Dr. Mike Leinwand with Bronson Children’s Hospital & President of Crayons 4 Kids, inc., and WWMT News reporter Mike Krafcik face off. Food truck vendors will be on site, so come hungry, and a DJ will be spinning tunes from the 50s and 60s throughout the event.

So you're probably wondering how much tickets are and where to purchase them... well, since this is a Crayons for Kids event, admission is your donation of any new toy, crayons, coloring books, puzzles, sticker books, games, etc., for children 3 years old and younger. That's it! Just come with a donation of a rattle or stuffed animal, and you will be helping a worthy local charity. Crayons 4 Kids works to help children during their hospital stays. They bring a smile and bring distraction at a very scary time, both for the child and their family. So get out of the house, enjoy a beautiful fall day looking at cars, and know that you're helping your community.
