Dollar Drive Through Thank You

I just want to take this opportunity to say thanks to all who came out to all 4 Dollar Drive Through locations yesterday and reinforced my pride in our community.  There is so much bad news and negativity and self-centeredness on a daily basis that, at times, becomes overwhelming.

Yesterday it was a nice change of pace to be overwhelmed by generosity.  However, the problem will remain that nearly 40,000 people, 10,000 of which are children, go hungry everyday in our area.  So if you didn't get a chance yesterday, go to the Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes website and give a little.  It'll go a long way.
