Dollar Drive Thru To Help Feed Kalamazoo Families Returns July 13th

July 13th will be the 11th Annual Dollar Drive-thru and the Townsquare Media family will be there in full effect to help raise money for meals for families in Kalamazoo County. Come hang out with 1077 RKR, 103.3 KFR, and 104,9/102.5 The Block as they set up in the drive-thru taking dollars at Traveler's Cafe, as RKR Vet Mike McKelly announced recently:

Those who would like to help can drive thru Traveler’s Café & Pub on Portage Rd just North of the airport where Townsquare Media stations will be broadcasting live, Old National Bank locations, and Panera locations. If they can’t drive-thru, they can click thru and give online at kzoolf.org. The 11th annual On Staff Dollar Drive thru, July 13th. Save the date and save a child from hunger.

What can you donate?

As they say, cash is king when it comes to the event, since the money collected goes to Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes which turns $1 into $10 worth of food. $10 turns into $100, and $100 into $1,000, and so on.

This will be the 11th event of its kind, and as they point out it's crucial to help families in Southwest Michigan:

Everyday over 10,000 children in our area don’t get enough to eat. And it gets worse in the summer when kids don’t get a meal at school. In some cases, families now will be paying for daycare and have to choose between paying rent or buying food.
