The Tibet House Benefit Concert is one of New York City's most celebrated cultural events. Kalamazoo State Theatre is a presenting sponsor and has ticket info.

For over thirty years, it has been one of the longest-running and most renowned live cultural events in the Big Apple, and now, you can see it. Kalamazoo State Theatre is proud to support the 34th annual Tibet House US Benefit Concert.

Founded at the request of the Dalai Lama, the mission of Tibet House US to ensure the survival of Tibetan civilization and culture. The movement has had many celebrity backers over the years, including Martin Scorsese, Sting, Bradley Cooper, ?uestlove, Yoko Ono, Uma Thurman, the Beastie Boys and others. Composer Philip Glass curated this year’s line-up, featuring Eddie Vedder, Phoebe Bridgers, Brittany Howard, Valerie June, Angélique Kidjo, Laurie Anderson, Tenzin Choegyal, Rubin Kodheli and many, many more to be announced soon. The opening act is none other than His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, who will begin the show with a personal video message.

While Kalamazoo State Theatre is not yet open to live in-person events, Jim Brickman is streaming five shows on Valentine's weekend that will raise money for the theatre. They are also now offering tours, so you can go behind the scenes, behind the curtain, backstage and take an inside look at this Kalamazoo landmark.
