Meet Battle Creek’s Grass Car Guy And His Wild Creation
There is a guy in Battle Creek who is going viral for his car, which is completely covered in artificial grass.
Known throughout the area as the Grass Car Guy, I had to reach out and ask this dude just exactly where he came up with the idea to make a grass car.

It’s really unmissable, considering the whole thing is covered in fake grass with the green winter wonderland license plate that says GRAZZ.
How Did You Decide To Do The Car To Begin With?
Basically, the reason I decided to get the car in the first place was that I had an Audi. I wanted to take care of the Audi in the winter and not drive it in the snow—even though they’re good in the snow. I wanted a beater.
So I got the Honda for $600, and it was just running on three cylinders when I got it. I fixed her up—got ignition coils, spark plugs—and it runs like brand new now.
Where Did The Inspiration Come To Cover It In Grass?
At first, the car just looked like any other beater you’d see around town. Then one day, I was over at my buddy’s place, and he had this straw on his lawn. I decided to throw some on my hood, and I liked the way it looked.
That gave me the idea—what if I just covered the entire thing in grass?
And I never looked back. I never second-guessed myself. I had the idea and just ran with it. I didn’t tell anybody I was doing it—except my girlfriend—until it was already too late, until I already had pieces on the car.
Once I saw it on there, I knew it had to be the whole car. Everything needed to be grass.
How Much of The Car Will Eventually Be Grass?
The entire inside's grass, and I'm doing grass taillights, grass rims, grass headlights. Every square inch of this car will be covered in grass—every functional square inch. I'm not covering the windshield. I'm not covering the mirrors... or am I?
