Breweries from all across the nation have teamed up with Sierra Nevada to help the victims of the recent California Camp Fire, including Bell's Brewery, Inc., , Final Gravity, Brite Eyes Brewing Co., Latitude 42 Brewing Co., and Arcadia Brewing Company. Each brewery was tasked with creating the Resilience Butte County Proud IPA and donating 100% of the proceeds to Camp Fire relief efforts.  According to an article, more than 1,000 breweries signed up to participate in just two days. Sierra Nevada is providing all the raw ingredients, working closely with malt, hop, and yeast suppliers to keep costs low.

Sierra Nevada is located west of Paradise, the town that was ravaged by fire in early November. Now, to add salt to the wound, they are dealing with flash floods.  Sierra Nevada's founder, Ken Grossman, said in a statement, quote, "We know that the rebuilding process will take time, but we're in this for the long haul."

Helping our California brothers and sisters rebuild never tasted so good. Look for our local, participating breweries to start selling the IPA by December 17.
