Saying Goodbye To OCB, A Local Favorite For Food And Games

One of the more unique and popular places to get some pizza in Kalamazoo has been the OCB located at 5581 S. 9th St. in Kalamazoo. Sadly, out of nowhere, they announced that they will be closing down at the end of the month in an emotional statement they made on their Facebook.

On the Facebook post, they announced that their doors will close on December 31, 2025.

The pizza place, also known for its other fun activities like air hockey, billiards, arcades, and other fun attractions, has been a unique pillar in the community, as they thanked their customers:

From the start, this wasn’t just a restaurant. It was a second chance for the building, for the story attached to it, and for us. We knew the past was messy. We knew people had their doubts. But we also knew what this community was capable of when given something to believe in. And you showed up. You showed up in ways we never expected.

They closed out their announcement expressing how they'd like to wrap up their time in Kalamazoo with their customers:

So as we head into this final month, we want it to feel like a celebration, not a goodbye. Come in. Share a meal. Play a game. Laugh. Tell stories. Let’s fill this place with the same energy and heart it had on its best days. Let’s close this chapter together the same way we lived it.
