COVID can't keep the State Theatre from bringing incredible concerts to your living room. Two incredible shows have just been announced; one in November, and one in January. Tickets are between $10 and $30, which is a steal. What a great and inexpensive date night idea, amiright? Order in your favorite take-out and stay in with dinner and a concert from the State Theatre.

First up, Kalamazoo's own Last Gasp Collective is set to perform live and host a Q&A session on Thursday, November 12th starting at 7:30pm. The Roots/The Internet-esque group blends jazz and soul with great lyrics and an intimate stage show. Already making a name for themselves, LGC has performed locally at Midwest Fest and Black Arts Fest. Get a taste of what's in store below, and click here for tickets.

The timing couldn't be better for The Go Rounds to perform. You'll be on the other side of your holiday hangover and itching for some entertainment. January 29th, welcome to the State Theatre stage a Kalamazoo foursome that has performed at SXSW and Chicago’s Green Music Fest. Their bio describes their music as "a blend of psychedelia, Americana, twang-rock and jelly-roll with a healthy dose of pop sensibility holding things together," which means there's something for everyone. Ticket information for The Go Rounds can be found here.

Two fantastic shows that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own living room. Thanks, State Theatre, for continuing to scratch that live music itch for Kalamazoo!
