Everyone In Michigan’s Internet Is About To Get Faster Thanks To President Biden
I know it definitely seems like first-world problems, but having slow Internet can really screw up a lot of people's days. As someone who regularly writes and operates multiple digital platforms, Internet access is crucial to getting the job done. Luckily for us, everyone in Michigan’s Internet is about to get a lot faster.
This is going to come in handy for so many people. Think about it, for all the gamers out there, the worst thing you can deal with is when your video game is lagging. The issue also targets some of the more rural folks as well. Like, all those big-time Hoss who can’t crank the hogg while Bess is away cause the interwebs er’ runnin' slow. Slow Internet is a big problem for all walks of life.
But luckily for us Michigan just received a digital equity plan that will boost high-speed Internet access for all residents, which is worth $20.5 million. Governor Gretchen Whitmer recently announced that the Biden Administration passed down over $20 million to the Michigan high-speed Internet office, as Governor Gretchen Whitmer elaborated:
This investment will help individuals and communities across Michigan gain access to affordable, reliable, high-speed internet. This funding will empower Michiganders with the tools, skills, and opportunities necessary to take advantage of the tools they need to succeed in our modern economy. Whether that’s accessing education and health care opportunities online, or running their business, these dollars will help all Michiganders make it in Michigan.
Looks like all hoggs'll soon be taken care of. Gobbless.
