New Frozen Yogurt Shop to Donate to Kalamazoo Charities on Opening Day

Kalamazoo is getting a Menchie's at Corner@Drake and they officially open their doors this weekend. As part of their Ribbon Cutting, they will celebrate three charities in our area; Crayons 4 Kids, a wonderful organization that spreads joy to children in hospitals, Girls on the Run, whose aim is to build the self-esteem of young girls in our area, and Open Roads, a program that strives to teach teenagers how to build and fix bicycles. Menchie's is so inspired by these charities that they have promised to partner with them for life and celebrate these causes at each anniversary. Here's what's going down at Menchie's opening weekend, and how you can deliciously donate!

Friday, May 18th:

• Free frozen yogurt from noon to 2:00pm
• Open Roads Celebration Bike-a-Free-Fro-Yo - bring a used bike in and get a Menchie's coupon for free frozen yogurt

Saturday, May 19th:

• 50% of proceeds go to Crayons4Kids

Sunday, May 13th:

• 50% of proceeds go to Girls on the Run
• Cake Raffle
