Pot Is Officially Legal On Thursday But Where Can You Buy It?
What a long, strange trip it's been but it's not over yet. The good news for those who want to get stoned is the law making recreational marijuana legal in the state of Michigan goes into effect on Thursday December 6th. The bad news is there isn't any determined establishments set up to sell it. So what does that mean? Even though it's legal, will folks have to buy it illegally?
Here's where we find a grey area. Since marijuana stores won't even be in place until 2020, those adults who want to partake will have to have it "gifted" from another adult. That's right! One person can give another person up to 2.5 ounces for FREE! So where is all this weed coming from? Well, the state assumes that since individuals are allowed to grow a certain amount, they'll also be very generous and GIVE IT AWAY! But wait. They have to grow it first. My head is spinning and I'm not high. Sounds to me like there's going to be some illegal goings on going on for quite a while. Get more of the details by clicking HERE.
