Yes, you read that correctly, one Southwest Michigan Middle or High school choir will be on stage with Foreigner when they rock a jam-packed Wings Event Center on May 19th, 2023. On top of that, the band will be giving $500 to the winning school's program:

The Rocker has a MASSIVE opportunity for you and your school. One of the most iconic Rock bands from the 80s, Foreigner (Cold As Ice, Hot Blooded, Urgent), and 107.7 RKR are partnering up to give the opportunity of a lifetime to kids in local choir programs. Foreigner will be having one choir program in the Southwest Michigan area ON STAGE with them during their show at a sold-out Wings Event Center on May 19th to sing the hit song “I Want To Know What Love Is” WITH THE BAND. On top of that, the band themselves will gift your choir program $500.

How Does It Work?

This contest is for any Southwest Michigan Middle or High School. By Friday, March 31st, we need a video (does not need to be overly professional) of your school's choir singing any Foreigner song. As mentioned, the song you’d be singing at the show is “I Want To Know What Love Is.” So if this song would be easier for the class, all the better, but it isn’t mandatory.

Your video will be uploaded to The Rocker’s YouTube and put on THIS ARTICLE for our audience and your class’s family to vote for starting Monday, April 3rd. The class with the most votes by the end of Sunday, April 30th will win the "Sing At Wings w/ Foreigner" contest. The Winning school will be announced by a member of Foreigner Friday, May 5th at 9 a.m. on 107.7 RKR.

If you win, Foreigner management will contact you in early May to organize the performance and provide further info.
